Meet Bibo. He's fluffy, a little chill, sometimes has an attitude, and always has your heart.
Bibo is my real dog, an 11-year-old Bichon Frise who has been my sidekick through everything. A year ago, I started turning him into a character and haven't stopped since.
The long-term vision is to build him into a character with his own world, the kind of iconic, instantly recognizable character that people grow up with.
So far he's been morphed into food, tucked into a banana, floating in a ramen bowl, dressed as a strawberry, celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival with mooncakes and lanterns.
He also has things to say. Illustrations that combine his character with hand lettering, where the message and the art carry equal weight. Wherever there's something cozy, something fun, or something worth celebrating, Bibo shows up.
