PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The ACE Agency asked me to create a mural for Santa Monica Place mall. The client wanted a playful mural that said “You can sit with us” with bright and bold colors. This mural would be inside the mall’s food court, next to a playspace and across from Cayton Children’s Museum. SMP also wanted to emphasize the iconic Santa Monica pier. 

I presented 2 concepts: bold 3D type with iconic elements in the background that represents Santa Monica city: the ferris wheel, the sun, palm trees, and waves.
